After Duncan Laurences victory in Tel Aviv in 2019 the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest was due to take place in Rotterdam the Netherlands however the event was cancelled in March 2020 due to the emerging COVID-19 crisis. The main location of Rotterdam Architecture Month in 2021 for which our Knowledge Day served as the kick-off event. The Grand Final of the 65th Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 22 at Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam the Netherlands.

Almost immediately preparations began to ensure that a 2021 Contest would go ahead. Photographer Raki Nikahetiya through his project In Carnation tells us the story about Dianthus caryophyllus the carnation flower. Lana Del Rey.
