NEWARK -- The Newark Kiwanis Club announced the cancellation of the Newark Strawberry Festival for a second consecutive year due to ongoing health concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic. The festival is held during strawberry harvest peak time on the first weekend of June in the center of the local strawberry industry in the historic town of Troy on the bank of the Great Miami River.
