Colorado shakespeare festival 2022. Spring Awakening a musical by Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik. Since 1958 the festival has celebrated and explored Shakespeare and his continuing influence and vitality through productions of superior artistic quality education and community engagement. Please check back in January 2022.

We will announce 2021 volunteer positions for Production and Education Outreach as they become available. The festival will be celebrating its 71st annual festival in August of 2022 in Leadville. The park is a short five minute walk to downtown Palisade.

The Colorado Shakespeare Festival is a professional acting company in association with the University of Colorado at BoulderIt was established in 1958 making it one of the oldest such festivals in the United States and has roots going back to the early 1900s.
